1 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 TBSP shortening
6 TBSP milk
Stir the flour, salt and baking powder in a bowl. Add shortening, cut into the flour mix with a fork or blender. Pour in the milk, stir lightly until dough holds together. Turn dough out onto lightly floured board. pat dough out until 1/2 inch thick and cut with biscuit cutter. Bake 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
